Sarbhat da bhala — the wellbeing of all

You don't have to figure it out alone.

Sarbhat Foundation is a nonprofit connector. When life gets hard — financially, legally, emotionally, or just finding your footing in a new place — we listen first, then guide you to the right person who can actually help.

Every program is free. Always. Donations are welcome, never required, and open to anyone regardless of background.

Our Story

Not experts. Just people who've been there.

Sarbhat Foundation began from personal experience — watching people around us, especially those newer to the country or navigating life after student years, quietly struggle with loneliness, financial pressure, or simply not knowing who to ask for help.

The name comes from Sarbat da bhala, a phrase rooted in Guru Granth Sahib Ji — meaning the wellbeing of all. It's a value, not a membership. This foundation is open to anyone in need, regardless of background or community.

We're not claiming to be professionals. We're a social body — a bridge between people going through something hard and the professionals and mentors who can actually guide them.

A Note Before You Book

We're not the experts — we're the connectors. Our role is to listen, understand what you're going through, and help find the right person in our network who may be able to help you. Sarbhat Foundation does not provide legal, financial, or medical advice directly, and is not a substitute for professional services.

"Open to anyone going through a hard time — new to the country, or just new to figuring it out."

Who We Help

Six kinds of struggle we hear about most

01

Financial Hardship

Struggling to stay afloat, unsure where to turn for real financial guidance.

02

Career Confusion

Stuck between what you studied and what comes next, with no one to map it out.

03

Community Isolation

The support system that existed in school life has quietly disappeared.

04

Family Conflict

Tension at home that feels too personal to bring to a stranger — but needs one.

05

Legal & Immigration

Paperwork, status, and rights that are confusing and high-stakes to get wrong.

06

Just Not Sure

Something feels off, but you can't quite name it yet. That's a valid reason to call.

How It Works

Two calls. One direction forward.

We keep it simple and conclusive — no vague, open-ended conversations. Every call has a clear purpose.

Step One

Discovery Call

30 minutes

We listen. No advice, no rushing — just understanding what you're going through and which area it falls into.

Step Two

Direction Call

15 minutes

We come back with a clear next step: who to talk to, what resource fits, and how to move forward.

Nonprofit, By Design

Every program is free. No exceptions.

Sarbhat Foundation is a registered nonprofit effort. Nothing here requires payment — not the discovery call, not the direction call, not the connection to our network of professionals.

Donations are always welcome and help us grow the network and, eventually, build a physical community space — but they're never a requirement to receive help.
